V pátek dopoledne, den před pochodem, se vydáváme vyznačit pochodovou trasu. Slunce se usmívá, cesta ubíhá, a najednou nám zkříží cestu divoké prase. Chvilkový oční kontakt na vzdálenost asi 20 m a po chvíli divočák mizí. Cestou ještě potkáváme čtyři srnky, ale jak se rychle objevily, tak rychle mizí. Po návratu domů večer ovšem přichází bouřka. Začínáme se modlit, třebaže předpověď počasí byla příznivá.
Sobotní ráno nám ovšem připravilo příjemné překvapení. Modrá obloha a hřejivé slunce, které vydrželo až do večera. Letošního ročníku se účastnilo 47 putujících geodetů s rodinnými příslušníky, malými i velkými. Start proběhl jako obvykle v parčíku za moravickým kostelem. Trasy probíhaly okolím obce Moravice a obce Melč. V úseku s výhledem na řeku Moravici bylo možné zahlédnout vodáky, slavící na všech možných plavidlech otevření řek. Z barev převládala na polích oslnivá žlutá, napovídající, že řepky do benzínu bude (zatraceně) dost.
Do cíle dorazili všichni bez úhony a u všech jsem viděl úsměv na tváři. V místě cíle, na Hůrce, pak pro všechny účastníky byl připraven guláš a jiné občerstvení. Následovaly hry pro děti, které připravila Saša a poté přišlo na řadu opékání špekáčků. Odpoledne kvapem ubíhalo, a tak než nastal čas odjezdu, byli účastníci odměněni pamětním listem, vlaječkou a přívěškem ve tvaru symbolu pochodu – botou se žralokem.
Děkuji tímto všem účastníkům za klidný průběh pochodu bez jakýchkoliv komplikací. A zároveň děkuji těm, bez kterých by to nešlo – Aničce a Jirkovi, Karlovi, Mileně, Saši, Mirkovi a Zdeňce, Ivovi, Mirkovi a Jitce. Na shledanou opět za rok. Pořadatelé.
