Brzké vstávání nám určitě nedělá dobře na pleť, ale poslední zářijovou sobotu to neplatilo. Vlak tentokráte Českým drahám neudělal ostudu a přijel včas. Desítka geodetů zabrala uzavřenou část vagónu a díky Aniččině pohostinnosti vzdala hold nadcházejícímu dni. Za okny nám poklidně ubíhala podzimní krajina s náznaky přicházející pestrobarevnosti. Na nádraží v Krnově na poslední chvíli vítáme další turistku a je, je, je nás jedenáct. Následoval přestup v Jeseníku, občerstvení v nádražním bistru a poslední úsek vlakem do stanice Ramzová. Po výstupu z vlaku jsme znaleckým okem zhlédli vrcholky hor s konstatováním, že ta mlha se přece musí rozplynout. Až později nám došlo, jak hluboce jsme podcenili vládce hor Praděda, ale rozhodně nám to neubralo na dobré náladě. Cesta lanovkou byla malým dobrodružstvím, jelikož viditelnost díky mlze dovolovala dohlédnout pouze k následujícímu sloupu. Odhadnout za kterým sloupem budeme z lanovky seskakovat se nám nedařilo, ale vše nakonec dopadlo dobře a všichni jsme stanuli u chaty na Šeráku na pomyslném startu. O průběhu příjemného pochodu na trase Šerák – Keprník – Vřesová Studánka – Červenohorské sedlo – Švýcárna – Praděd nejlépe vypoví následující fotografie.
